Kelley Stoltz grew up in the Detroit area, just presently establish his way to San Francisco. Armed with a four-track registrar and heaps of groovy ideas, Stoltz began recording his songs, playing all the parts himself. These songs caught the ear of Monte Vallier, world Health Organization helped Stoltz blank up and sweeten the recordings for spill as The Past Was Faster on The Telegraph Company. After that, Stoltz upgraded to an eight-track and self-released Age-old Glow in a limited variant of two hundred on vinyl, each transcript housed in a different, originally intentional sleeve by Stoltz. Antique Glow was so picked up by Jackpine Social Club for wider release in 2003, which both embossed his profile and allowed him to throw in the towel his teaching caper. He so touched to Sub Pop, releasing the Sun Comes Through EP in late 2005 in expectancy of Below the Branches in March of 2006.
